I have an LCD tv and no matter what zoom/resolution is set, the sides of the screen are cut off, eg I cant see the whole logo of the channel or the edges of faces on the side of the screen.

This is the same with the tv (different brand) in my boyfriends home, and the tv in my living room. How do you change this?

Answer:
Check the picture setrtings on the Menu for your Box (Satellite receiver or Cable receiver). Check the video settings there.

Should be something under Options Button.
