Is the LCD status display on a camera also a screen?

I want to buy a camera witha a screen and the details only say it has a LCD statis display. Does that meen it has a screen in the back? This is a Jazz digital camera by the way…

I really hate to state it, but I would not recommend purchasing a Jazz digital. Look for reputable brands such as Sony, Nikon, Canon and Panasonic. http://www.dpreview.com/reviews/specs.as… if its not here, then I wouldn't recommend it to you.
Either way, pretty much every digital camera these days has a LCD screen/display - so if this one doesn't I think it would be a very strange marketing decision!
