Whenever I clean off my LCD monitor, it leaves streaks behind - not really visible, but noticeable when the monitor's off.

I currently use special wipes for it (LCD screen wipes that I purchased from MicroCenter) and a soft cloth (it's an iMac; it comes with a cloth suggested for cleaning). Still streaks.

Answer:
1: Dry dust lightly first.

2: With the monitor off, spray water on a clean wipe (I'm not sure you need the special ones, but go with those if you’ve them).

3: Wipe off the monitor without pressing too hard.

4: Dry with a soft dry cloth.

If you still have streaks, repeat.

I know exactly what you mean! been there. I use the iClear… it has been very helpful. Also…. when you are wiping it do it in a circular motion small to medium in size until you've wiped the whole area. never leaves a streak!

Make sure you use a good quality micro-fiber cloth type.
