Chances are that your LCD screen is damaged, there are several ways this could have happened. One way is it got too hot, maybe left in a car when it was too hot, or maybe something was spilled in on it. The LCD's are heated on the circuit board by a very thin ribbon that is attached to the LCD and if it gets too hot it comes loose and has to be reheated back on again, this is the most common fixes that I come across or it was dropped and it damaged the LCD but didn't crack.

P.S. Take it to a cell repair store and they’ll usually look at fir free and if it is just a reheat it will cost about $25.
