I’m mainly looking at Sony, Samsung, and maybe Phillips. I’m looking for the ideal picture quality/clarity, at a reasonable price. If you know of any superior or if you’ve bought one brand of t.v. and wish you had purchased a different brand instead, please let me know.

You can have the best picture LCD tv out there, but if its not reliable and you paid a lot for it then whats the point?

Sony's are Japanese made electronics. They are 10x more reliable than anyother brand out there. Phillips is just walmart trash.

If you want a quality product that will last you, I highly recommend the Sony line.

Not sure what size you’re looking for, but the W4100 Series by sony has the Bravia Engine 2 Video Processor & the 120Hz Panel refresh board.

We are an authorized service center for both Samsung and Sony. We get a TON of Samsung units in with major costly repairs. Getting Bad Main boards, bad TCON's, Panels, SMPS boards.. they are all so unreliable that on a service call, we have to order all the boards because the Samsung units dont use protection circuitry to help diagnose out in the field what it actually causing the problem. Just Cheap junk.

And for the Sony's, still not 1 call yet that ended up being a Sony repair.

5ms response time, or lower

HDMI ports

120hz processer( makes movement look for clean) opptional, but recomended

if it has all that, and the picture just looks good to you, you found yourself a tv!
