I recently decided to upgrade from my old 32inch Television and I have a friend that works at ideal by that’ll get me any LCD TV for cost. Also my cousin has a hd65 that he’s willing to sell me for a good price that’s about 4 months old. Which one should I go with and why?

Answer:
Don't buy the hd65 if he's willing to sell you his he's just gonna get something better. get the superior tv panasonic is a great tv and the employees accommodation is great right now, so is sony's, like a 46″ sony w series for under a $1000 or panasonic 50″ for under $900

Answer:
If you're going to be watching Television in anything but an almost absolutely dark room, get the Television instead of the projector. Any ambient light from lamps or the outside will wash out the picture somewhat, since the projection screen is white. With an LCD, you can have a lot of ambient light and still get a good picture. They also have matte surface screens (instead of glossy) that cuts down on a lot of the glare.

Also consider that, with a projector, you're probably going to mount it on the ceiling, which means you're going to have to run all the wiring to it up the wall and across the ceiling. Unless you run it through the attic or through a conduit, this can look pretty sloppy.

Answer:
Before considering the Optoma HD65 DLP projector offered by your cousin, sit down and view an actual motion picture or game displayed on it. Check out the darkened surroundings and if you can set up a similar setup in your home/apartment, then go for it. There's no comparison whatsoever between a 32″ Television [LCD or Plasma] versus front projection. Remember that DLP projection is the current standard technology for commercial movie projection which will shortly come to your local movie home.

Good luck!

Answer:
tell him to get you a panasonic plasma. 1. it will look better, 2. tell him to look up employee accomodations, we're getting a very nice accomodation for those tv's.
